So Patrick posted on Facebook last night saying they ordered way too many kegs. They're willing to let go of skids of pin or ball lock 5 gallon kegs. I believe he's only selling them by the skid, but the price works out to $20 per pin lock keg and $30 per ball lock keg at 75 kegs per skid.
I've posted on the London Homebrewers Guild website to see if they would be willing to get in on this deal to fill a skid. I'm interested in getting 5 ball lock kegs. If we manage to get enough interest to get a skid, I'll organize with the LHG for pickup.
Is there any more interest here in getting some pin or ball lock kegs? Post whether you're interested below and the quantity you're interested in.

Hey, Shawn the new guy here. I'm pretty sure I'll be addicted to brewing in short order so maybe a preemptive increase in storage capacity on the cheap is a good idea. I'd be in for 4 ball lock.

K all of our orders are in. We've got 20 kegs in the bulk buy and i believe the guild is trying to see if we can fill an order second skid.
Steve I put 5 kegs in there for you.

I don't know if this would be at all helpful, but I will be in London on April 14th. If that happens to be good for pickup, I could grab our 20!

I'll keep the group updated. Currently there are no set dates but they are looking at paying for freight or potentially having a deal through a guild member for freight. I'll keep the group updated as I learn more!

So some of the LHG members are getting pushed out of the bulk buy because we added 20 to the 1st skid and there isn't enough interest to fill a 2nd skid. This bulk buy was definitely a first-come-first-serve type of situation, but I don't want anyone to get a bad taste in their mouth when they think of our club.
I'm going to drop my order from 5 to 3 kegs. Is anyone else willing to drop a keg or two off of their order to accomodate the LHG members?

Hi Alex. You can cut me back from 3 to 2 if that helps. Thanks for doing all the work on this

False alarm I think.. The LHG exec team is saying the buy was first-come-first-serve and that we should not reduce our order.. I think just to show some respect for the LHG members I've offered to drop two from our order (they can both come from my order or we can split them up) but if no one speaks up to fill the gap then we should be OK.

51 kegs short. Hell if someone wanted to buy the rest of the skid and then sell them on kijiji for $40 each would make a decent profit
