Hello beer enthusiasts, my name is Connor and I live here in Chatham-Kent.
For the past 2 years I have been going through the long journey of manufacturing a pilot malt system where I can produce a local malt for brewers within the area. In the last 5 months I have been malting a great quality 2-row pale malt. I have been a member of the Facebook group for quite some time now, and I thought I would open a thread on here to see if anyone would be interested in purchasing some malt to create their own local brew.
Please email me at oneillmalting@gmail.com with any further questions, and I will gladly get back to you as soon as possible. I send my malt away to Winnipeg for lab analysis, so providing you with malt specs would be no problem at all.
Cheers, Connor

Sounds good to me Alex! Yes, it has been a long time coming now, but I am finally producing my malt to the specifications I was aiming for. I am sure you will be able to taste the difference in freshness of the malt.

I am too, but need to use up my current stock first. Hopefully it will be possible to get smaller amounts (less than a full bag) for those of us that don't have a big all-grain setup

Yes, I can definitely sell smaller amounts than the full bag. Even though I would rather sell the typical full bag at a time, I do understand that some home brewers do not exactly need all of it at a certain time.

Sounds like there's lots of interest. Would everyone be interested in splitting a full 55# bag? Connor said he could come to the next meeting so we could split it then.

I'd go for 5 pounds or so.
