Pours a nice copper colour with an off white fluffy head. Aroma is of caramel/toffee malt with low hops. Flavour is of caramel and toasted malt but also has a definite fruitiness to it...apple maybe. Its very smooth with nice carbonation and just enough bitterness to cut the malt sweetness, although I would like a bit more bitterness for my taste. Overall a very good beer!

Lovely amber colour. The aroma I get is caramel and that carries through to the flavour as well. I'm getting what I swear tastes like wet hops, but it must be the slight vegetal character of the pumpkin. It's smooth and quite easy to drink, but a little sweetish on the palate. For me, I think it needs a bit more bitterness to balance the malt, and a bit more hop flavour (perhaps a spicier hop?)...with that, I think this beer could really shine.
