I have a lot of confidence that our club can go far. Like I said during our first meeting, I was sure it was going to be me and 4 guys. I was very excited when there were 14 of us! Just goes to show that homebrewers are lurking everywhere.. just waiting for a conversation about yeast and attenuation to come out of the woodwork. Some of the plans I have are: - Public brew session/teach a friend to brew day
- Brew challenges
- Bulk buys (currently we could do hops, but malt might be difficult to get a deal on without a supplier)
- Booths at public events (farmers markets, CK table, Flights and Flasks etc)
- Info about competitions
- Advent brew
- Sample glasses, shirts, stickers etc
These are very much in the air and I have no plans other than eventually I'd like to do the above.
Please feel free to suggest ideas or, better yet, get working on them! I will need help with a lot of this and any volunteers to lend a hand will help drastically when it comes to actualizing these plans.

Alex, firstly, thank you for starting the club. I was shocked to see how many home brewers were there. I was also incredibly humbled. I am an extract brewer at the most ground floor level. I have brewed several batches - kit and kilo style. To be honest, I have enjoyed every one of them. I am interested in seeing and hearing about all grain brewing. I found all of the samples at the first meeting to be excellent. Thanks again for kicking this off!!
