I was wondering if anyone else has hops plants growing. I have one cascade and one centennial that i planted last spring. I'd love to get a hops exchange going. I'm going to try splitting both of mine next year. Denny has first dibs on them but i might be able to pull several rhizomes off the centennial if anyone else is interested.

I also planted some rhizomes in this spring (Cascade, Chinook, Fuggle, Nugget and Sterling). Based on their first-year vigour, I'll be able to pull a few rhizomes off of my Cascade and Chinook (maybe Nugget too). The other two will need at least another year to get well established. I don't have room for any more at this time, but would be willing to share rhizomes from what I have.

I've had a East Kent Goldings and a Mt. Hood growing for 3 years. The Goldings have not done well and i plan on ripping them out. i'd love to replace with something else, perhaps Centennial. The Mt Hood is in the "take over the world stage" and i can easily provide rhizomes for those to anyone who wants some.

I've got a cascade that's loving life and will also be taking some rhizomes from a friend's "wild Ontario" plant given to him by a family friend. I don't have any space for more plants but would be willing to give up some cascade.
I was thinking.. lots of us grow hops. What if next year around harvest time or later we all brewed the same recipe for an APA or something but used all of our own hope? We could share them at a meeting and really hone in on the differences between our plants.

If anyone is interested in splitting their rhizomes I'd be interested. I'd love to grow some hops in the backyard.

Keep any eye out early spring next year Dustin, it sounds like lots of us will be willing to share rhizomes!
