I thought this was a great ale to end the advent beer tastings! Really nice colour, malty caramel with a hint of cinnamon in both the aroma and flavour, and a clean, nicely rounded profile...tasty and very enjoyable. Thank you, Peter, for a fitting final beer!

Pete, delicious Christmas Ale. I shared it with a few members of my family and they also enjoyed. We were trying to figure out the aromas with no success. It almost seemed like a bit minty? Nice roasted malt flavour and great head retention. I'd love to make a beer as great as this for xmas- heck for any time. Thanks Peter!

Just got a chance today to drink this after Christmas travels:
Slight caramel on the nose. More caramel malt on first sip. The bitterness starts slowly, builds as little, and fades into a slight cinnamon/clove finish. The initial thought is there is a British Ale yeast of some type used but the cinnamon/clove makes me think differently.
Great way to end the calendar.
